    2 of these 4 guys need to step up or be replaced in a month:

    Beltran = 12/63/242
    Gregorius = 6/33/215
    Drew = 15/45/160
    Sabathia = 6-21 with a 5.67 ERA

    Get rid of Beltran, Gregorius, Drew, & CC and this team is so much better... I can live with Gardner... like the power from Tex, but hate the avg...

    Time to bring up some kids... DFA Drew, Beltran, & Gregorius.. I'd love for CC to be DFA'd as well

    I think Beltran can be serviceable as a 4th OF where he gets more rest. His bat has shown some life in spurts even though a lot of his hard contact has been right at defenders. His exit velocity is strong. And the guy is an absolute money postseason player. If he continues to struggle they can definitely look for a RF rental come July or even consider Judge if he's made the ascension to AAA and is hitting at that point.

    Though his bat appears to be heating up of late he's become a major liability in the field.

    Yes, his D is terrible. He did have an .816 OPS in May and they replace him with Young late in games. I think more days off where he gets a 350-400 AB pace between spot starts in the OF and being the 2nd DH he could be even more productive. May bought him June so we'll see how he does. In today's day and age you have to be happy with anything above .750 OPS production and his .816 OPS last month was that. We'll see if he can keep it going.

    Beltran looks as if he's favoring some kind of leg issue when he goes after a ball in RF but it's just a case of this guy simply losing a step and 1/2 in the field and I would expect a couple/few more than 12 HRs.

    And in your projections....what about OPS?
    Many times a modest or "low" BA is okay if the batter gets on base, and slugs at a better rate.

    So all their current OPS is your projected final....okay, nevermind, I don't care to look up each players' current OPS and decide how higher or lower it will finish....but for starters, if Arod and Tex ever maintain their current OPS for the full season, I think it would be a HUGE benefit for the Yanks.

    ...not sure what your problem is or why you took issue with the OP, and I really don't care...but I'm always glad to help with your continuing education.
