Just gotta be good enough to get into the playoffs. Then anything can happen.

Until you face my Giants, that is.

Cano and Seager were great last season already and we finished 1 game out. Adding a legit 25+ HR guy in Cruz to replace Corey Hart+Justin Smoak+Kendrys Morales who combined gave us 20 HR/75 RBI on ~.205 is HUGE. Combine him with the growth of Zunino, LoMo, Ackley, Miller with DJ Peterson looming... That's an actual offense. Something super rare in Seattle.

Rodney has had two 48 save seasons in 3 years, he is older but you could do a lot worse than him.

The Nats do have a great staff. I forgot they picked up Scherzer. Mariners are up there though, probably #2. Mariners have a lot of potential though with Walker+Paxton (not to mention a couple more good prospects in the minors).

Taijuan Walker looks like absolute garbage tonight.

As expected, the Mariners hitting is coming up short early on in the season.

There's always an overrated by the media team every year, I guess this year it was the Mariners.

5 games.... And the M's bandwagon empties?

The Giants were swept to open the 2012 season.... It's a little early for panic.

It's cool seeing Panik be a good pro. Saw him play quite a few games here when he was a Volcano.

Mariners starting slow. Pitching has been very bleh. Luckily it's a strength of this team and likely won't be a trend.

Panik is decent, could be out of the league in a few years though. Not many mlb skills.

Giants are having a rough go with injuries right now, pence, mcgeehee, and belt sitting. I'd like to see Duffy get some burn at 3rd.

Fuck, I'm getting tired of "Sideways Hat Boy". Hope the Mariners are too.

Pitching is killing the Mariners. They're too talented in that area to keep letting this happen.

The Mariners need to do Felix Hernandez a solid and trade him away so he doesn't waste his entire career in that shithole like Ichrio pretty much did.

The AL East is mediocore. Since I am a O's fan I've got to be biased and pick them division winners as well. In the end I see Cardinals taking the Detroit Tigers 4-3

So I'm no baseball expert, but how has no one been fired yet on the Mariners? Everyone with a brain knew they would be shit like this, but how do they still have the same gm and manager right now?

The mariners suck. They always suck. Rodney imploded as expected, walker is meh, the rotation sucks other than Felix and the occasional good game by another in the rotation.

Cruz was on fire, but he's not THAT good.

    Cano is good, but overpaid.

    They suck
