Congrats! This is great motivation! After college, I got a desk job and sit all day and gained more weight then I ever thought possible. I used to be 175 5'11 in college but now about 215.

Hey, Further - when you & I reach goals we should go out together to celebrate. Maybe clothes shopping?

    Clothes swapping? Sounds kinky.

    SHOPPING, Denny, not swapping.

Although, who knows, maybe we wear the same size jeans?

I love crandc. How are your goals going?

As far as clothes shopping, I have a few items I'll buy only once I reach my final goal of 180lbs. I'll need a nice tailored suit and I've always wanted a really nice leather motorcycle jacket. I always thought good leathers looked bad on me when I was fat, so I never spent the bucks. I think that will be my big present to myself once I reach the end of the blubber rainbow. Are you needing a good leather jacket?

There are so many people on this site who have lost loads of rolls and although I've made mine very public, the others that lurk in loose clothing should also be proud of their accomplishments. And Zags for finally gaining 3 pounds.

    Hey Further,

Yeah, there are one time items. But I wear jeans every day and every pair is too big. I put on a skirt to wear to a performance of SF Ballet, and by the time I walked from bedroom to living room it had landed on my shoe tops. Baggy is one thing, but I hardly want to end up on the street in just my tights!

Leather jacket? Sounds cool! What size?

Good jeans are always a great get. I'm a Levi's guy. I have one pair that fits at the moment, I've given away the rest. I've gone from around a 48 inch waist to a 36 now. I figure out I'll end up 33 or 34.

Right now a jacket would be a large, maybe even xl, but I figure when I'm down below 180 I should fit a medium.
