(I left the ? off the thread title...sorry...it's a question, not a statement) I see a bellyaching over the loss of these pieces. Valuable members when they were here, no doubt. But how valuable are they in reality?
I don't care a rat's ass about Adams. He doesn't belong in any big picture discussion. Korver's a great shooter and a nice role player to have on your team, but he's a borderline starter (yeah, yeah, I'm aware that he was selected for the EC all star team). I was very disappointed when the Bulls couldn't retain Asik. He's a terrific backup center. Korver and Asik can be important pieces of a championship team. This said, both are "win with" not "win because of" players. Edit: Don't mean to hijack the thread, but I just noticed that Asik's a free agent. What sort of contract do you think he'll get?
