Sadly, in these latter times, "Denial, Lack of Self-Responsibility and Ownership of what comes out of one's mouth"; seems like its becoming the American Way, to always point one's finger at another, as "their" problem. Everyone else is always wrong, and this person, that person, or nation of moron's, is the reason we think we need to Police the World.....its everyone elses fault, always.......NOT....!!!

I don't recall so much lack of self-responsibility in the 60s-70s.....

As somebody who doesn't get involved in this crap on the regular, this is almost the typical thread here. BLG says something, sometimes stupid (image that, a stupid opinion on a message board) and you guys go on an all-out gang attack, analyzing every nuance of everything he says. It then turns into another potentially good thread ruined. Why aren't users flocking to this board?!

FWIW, if Nova can be productive when he gets back and Warren can make this decision impossible, the Yanks have a very good problem on their hands. A few weeks until Nova gets here, let's see if this short leash on CC thing can be successful. Working a 6-man rotation when the schedule allows can really help with Tanaka and Pineda down the stretch.

There are no flocks of posters, ESPN was schadenfreude..... Some guys had many multiple accounts. Its a message board, read what interests you. If I had a dollar every time I read a post pointing out what was wrong with the board by a poster that doesn't invest the time to make said board better....I'd be an even wealthier man.

I'd really rather not see a 6 man rotation but if Warren continues to pitch well there may not be much of a choice. But theirs time yet so lets see what happens.

    ..."flocking to this board"?....please.

...people have a right to their opinion but that does does exempt them from countering opinions. It also does not exempt them from ridicule if they keep doing the very same shit over and over and over. It's a message board, people often tend to disagree.

...I will continue to post what I want, when I want, to whom I want, as often as I want...that will not change.

And to think, this particular ongoing charade performed by you and your fellow inquisitor came about because both of you took issue with my post (#5) and consistently demanded why I had a "feeling" concerning the Yanks and Adam Warren.

    And here is that post:
"I get the feeling the Yanks would prefer Warren in the pen and can't wait to move him to the pen".

Take a good look at the above.
I have not been the one picking fights or trying to create something that isn't there.

Ought to be ashamed of yourselves making such an issue over this.

Here's my suggestion because honestly myself and others are getting sick of the same childish fights. No pointing fingers or trying to assess percentages of blame. This stuff is getting where it just ruins the threads and turns people off from participating. Make your point and leave it at that. No need to bring up past comments, what was said in other threads or any of that crap. No personal crap or ending posts with little digs directed at others. This keeps on happening in every single thread now and I've really had enough.

All I mean is that we're all fans. At the end of the year it doesn't matter who was right or wrong in spring training. I'd like to be pleasantly surprised and see a division win. With how wide open the American League is right now if you get in the playoffs you never know.

Well, there's the rub. This topic and hearing opinions and options would sure interest me if I didn't have to wade through the same old BS. It's a group of old codgers typing what they want, whatever they want and making no points other than to ridicule the same guys opinions over and over again. It's fvkking Groundhog's Day over here. Why in holy heck that guy hangs around this place is beyond me. Blast away grandpas, your cool life experiences and years of knowledge and wisdom somehow have you believing you have a license to be douches. It's just old…and tiring crap.

Vic I hear what you're saying, this got a little out of hand due to a simple question that couldn't or wouldn't be answered by blg. If you & I were waiting for someone & you said, "I have a FEELING that he's not coming". My logical response would be, "What makes you say that?" & then you would answer.

So when blg said, "I have a FEELING that the Yankees would like to move Warren to the pen & CAN"T WAIT! to get him there". I gave the common & natural response, "What makes you say that". And he couldn't or wouldn't give a reason.

I mean if you're going to make a statement that is definitely going to get a response you should at least be able to explain your reasoning behind your statement. Yes it got a little out of hand but it didn't have to if.....well, I think you follow what I'm saying.

Like I said I don't want to turn this into a blame game. Plus, I'm not old. I would just like to see this rinse and repeat inside of every thread end. It's a big reason why some of those newer posters that have given this place a try or have come over from Reddit don't stick around.

Bern with all due respect perhaps you'll find some logic in my last post #53. I hope.

6 man could be a blessing for keeping Pineda and Tanaka healthy down the stretch. Warren could blow up in his next 2 starts (which wouldn't surprise much) and make the whole thought moot. Unfortunately, I think we just have to live with the ups and downs of CC. Keep the quick hook at the ready.

...you can take your derogatory references to older people and stick them in your ear...age has absolutely nothing to do with this.

    So age, knowledge and wisdom
Now this is just plain derogatory in itself..........No bias?

Tell me bern, are you exempt from growing old(er), or having life experiences, which are unique unto its/your own...... I didn't think so.....is there a crime with sharing experiences......

Old Codgers? I take exception to that derogatory remark.......

Are we to close our minds, because someone older than ourselves have seen, things this generation will never see again.......is this not how progress is made......:smiley-peace:
    Open Mindedly........?

Yup, Crapuano is in the pen to take over the long relief if needed.

I'm still stunned the Yanx even picked up Crapuano......

at least keep him on a looonnnngggg leash in the Bull-Pen, and only let him out, as you said, in Long Relief, which translates IMO, to games blown out of reach by the 3rd to 5th innings.......
