PG- Lionel Hollins- was far and away my favorite Blazer as a kid SG- Clyde Drexler- love Clyde, wish he showed more love for Potland. SF- Jerome Kersey- this thread isn't about the best, just your favorite and its JK in a landside for me. PF- loved the Enforcer but for me it's Buck Williams. Loved the way he played the game. C- Sabonis over Walton for me. Wish we had him his whole career.
Favorites? PG = 'Dre? But because he was short-lived I'll go with Lillard. SG = Wes SF = Kersey (Pippen a close second with Nic a close third) PF = Sheed (With Meyers closing the gap!) C = Sabonis - best player to ever play the game
Lionel Hollins Brandon Roy Jerome Kersey Brian Grant Kevin Duckworth (wish I could have spent a day fishing with him)
1- Lillard 2- JR Rider 3- Kersey 4- Sheed 5- Pryzbilla *Aldridge will be #4 if he re-signs, but right now he's in limbo.
I think the fact that Drexler prefers to be remembered as a Houston Rocket kind of put him down my favorite blazers by quite a bit. Also his anti-Portland sentiments in the years after he left town. With Wes, who knows what he's gonna do this summer. I think like Aldridge, a lot of people don't want to put him down then have him turn around and sign with the Lakers, then what the fuck.
It's nice to remember the Houston and Dallas games with broy, but his actions after leaving the blazers, and the fact that he became a primadonna towards the end, made me not really like the guy. I respect his game (minus some of his matador defense) and enjoyed watching him take over games, but the last few years I grew tired of him.
PG: Strickland SG: Lillard (when he plays SG) SF: Augmon PF: Kenny Carr C: Ha (only one of those wasn't serious)
