There's no way anyone wants to see an all Royals starting lineup. Since they idiotically made this about home field in the WS they're going to have to address fan voting after this disgrace.

Alternating the AL and NL Parks for Worlds Series Play made sense, then along comes Bud Light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, its a damn joke. currently there are 7 Royals leading in the positions & there could be an 8th if Infante over takes the Astros Jose Altuve who's currently only leading by a small margin.

    http://www.sportingnews.com/mlb/story/2015-06-08/mlb-all-star-game-2015-royals-voting-ballot-al

Mean time there's not one player from the World series Giants leading in voting....

    http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2...ng-update-bryce-harper-and-lots-of-cardinals/

Here's the kicker, 2nd basebase Omar Infante (Royals trails the Astros Jose Altuve 2.8M to 2.6M

    Altuve is hitting 5/27/301
Infante is hitting 0/17/216 (are you kidding me?)

DH is held by Kendreys Morales over Nelson Cruz

    Morales is hitting 7/41/292
    Nelson Cruz hitting 18/39/329

Catcher Salvator Perez (Royals) had a big lead over the A's Stephen Vogt

    Perez is hitting 8/27/277
    Vogt is hitting 11/39/290

    ...^^^

    all legit valid points......

I about shit, when I saw the Royals Line-up this far, closing in on the A.S. game.....

No fkn way does KC have that much star power......

    Maybe Moose, Cain, only..........

Had KC not of put Finnegan on the 40 Man Roster, (I'd enjoy seeing the latter, with his Vandy 100 mph southpaw relief appearance.........

Other than that, KC doesn't have a SP worth an A.S. appearance; IMO.......!

If Infante over takes Altuve in the voting there will be 8 Royals voted to start this years ASG.

...the fans are the last ones who should be allowed to pick the starters.

Unlike when Torre tapped the entire Yanx Infield for the 02 A.S. game, yet that IMO was a justified move; much moreso than the Royals INF.....I just don't see it, giving fans 35 votes and only voting via I-Net, IMO is fkd up. This process/system, needs revising.........

I'd even give HOF players a vote. I mean who knows the game better than them.

I did not think of that one, but its great input.....but how many HOF players follow all of MLB, in lieu of the Team that put them in the HOF? Case in Point George Brett, He had/has pretty good insight into Amateur Players, who could help his Royals, or any other team, but that ended (if I'm not mistaken), last year........

I know they're plenty of HOF players still active in MLB, at all levels, and I'd have NO PROBLEM seeing them vote......Nice Call Rick......

BTW-how's that shoulder feeling, now the numbing shots have lost their effect?? I hope well........

During the '56 All Star Game Cincinati Fans stuffed the Ballot Boxes and put 7 Reds and Musial. The commish stepped in made a couple of adjustments then turned over the votes to players, managers, and coaches until it was returned to the fans. It should revert to the Field Personnel and have no influence on which team gets home field for the series. If altering years is not the ticket then award HFA to the team with the best record at series time.

Indeed, Frank Robinson, Curt Flood, still a kid, Wally Post, Kluzewski, Gus Bell, Smokey Burgess.......et al....

    with a team combined: 221 HR's, 734 RBI's, and 775 Runs Scored..........

a .591 Win Pctg, just .005 points behind Milwaukee, or 1 game, and only 2 games behind the Milwaukee Braves.......

I had Frankie Robinsons rookie card, damn if knew back then what we knew today. Curt Flood, that guy was instrumental in the establishment of better opportunities for players when he challenged the system. Seems like the man has been almost forgotten.

The earliest Frank Robinson card I have is a 58, also got
Curt Flood's and Lou Brocks rookie card. Many seem to of forgotten Flood was a Red, and Brock a Cubbie........

NTM-Flood's integral lawsuit vs MLB, which beget Free Agency. I recall the 68 W.S. like it were yesterday, the Cards of the 60s, were incredible, with both Bob Gibson, Steve Carlton, Nellie Briles, and Ray Washburn, and Joe Hoerner, their Closer, with a 1.47 ERA.....

Yet it was Gibson's year with that nasty infamous classic incredible sensational (enough with the verbs) 1.12 ERA, which stood MLB on its ears, with the lowering of the mounds, but all you guys know this.........sorry to repeat myself....

I never put on baseball card in my spokes, remember I used my Mom's playing cards instead, those could be replaced.........hehe.....

I never really collected Cards for any Monetary Value, as a collectible is only what one is willing to pay for it, no price guides make a lick of sense.
Besides, rather than sale a card, I've always traded one or 2 for another player, often to complete a Set.......!
