    Last two games you can just see that Lebron is on a mission and Curry is looking like he wants to go on vacation as soon as he can.

    Could he be like a new school Greg Anthony for the zurs? Is he good at defense or is curry making him look good?

    He's a decent backup, but it's not Curry that is making him look good. It's more his effort and that one Lebron guy.

    I actually think Jordan wouldn't've won six if he hadn't taken the time off. He would've burned out.

    I think he might start a trend of NBA teams looking for rugby players...

    And as for the Blazers: you don't sign a guy that you realize is good IN THE NBA FINALS. It's a bit too late then. Besides, he's now a Cavs folk hero. He's staying put.

    The bigger question is: is Kyrie available now? (Not because Delly is starter material, but just because they realize Kyrie might be a wasteful investment.)

    Having said all that in praise of Lebron, I think one guy who is getting totally overlooked is David Blatt. He's proved he's a great coach elsewhere and has coached at least as big upsets overseas (like Russia beating Spain for the Eurobasket). He's a straight up great coach. And he's had to deal with being regarded as Lebron's bitch the whole season.

    That's what I was wondering last night. It creates roster imbalance, but would people be interested in LMA for Kyrie*? I'm not wild about the idea, but it could create a dynamic back court if we decide Wes is too much of a gamble. I don't like the idea of our back court being that small though:

    PG = Kyrie/Dame
    SG = Dame/CJ

    Defensively it would be terrible. But with a good coach, and roster improvements at PF and C (mobile bigs who excel at help-defense), we could potentially cover for the weakness of our guards. But it would be very difficult to make the necessary improvements to be able to get away with that back court.

    *Thompson & Wiggins sure does sound pretty good right now!

    No to Kyrie. He's (a) injury prone and (b) as bad, if not worse, a defender as Damian. That would be a disaster as a backcourt.

    Bet Lebron would like Lillard for Kyrie, though. He might even like Wes for Kyrie.

    I pretty much agree with you.
    I think the Cavs would LOVE to swap Wes for Kyrie.

    Smh. And if Wes is "too much of a gamble", Kyrie is too. The dude has been injured his whole life. Wes hasn't.

    I just finished watching the second half this morning, fell asleep during the halftime show, and holyshit is a good sum up of this series so far. I don't care if you love or hate Lebron you cannot deny that what we are watching in this finals isn't just an amazing finals performance but one of the most dominating performances of not just a playoff series but a Finals series. We are watching history in the making, I have my serious doubts about Cleveland winning this series still but even if they lose we have a good shot at seeing the first Finals MVP from a losing team since West did it in 69.

    I was trying to remember if there'd been an MVP on a losing team. I was thinking Magic, but that might've been an All-Star game.

    I agree the Warriors could turn it around (probably because I can't believe this is possible). I think the seeds are there in playing Iggy and Lee a lot more. Both of them were actually really good, along with Barbosa (that's partly what prompted my comment about the Warriors' bench being better than 4 Cavs starters). I think this is the real test of Kerr as a coach.

    If the Warriors win: Curry's team will have beaten the team of every other member of the first team all-NBA (Davis, then Gasol, then Harden, then James).
    If the Cavs win: LBJ will be crowned God Emperor of the Universe. And the Spurs will have gone from champions to the team that lost to the team that lost to the team that lost to the team that lost to the champions.

    Is Curry overrated because Delladova is giving him the business on both sides of the floor?
