Spurs didn't sit players out of games for "rest" until two seasons ago.

Talk about intellectual dishonesty some more.

Nah, your dates are off :)

Seriously, implying championships dating back to David Robinson days have anything to do with Pops resting his old players in recent seasons is disingenuous at best. Outright deceitful at worst.

No, my dates are good - I looked them up instead of making them up.

And...wow. If that's all you got from the picture then, really, I have nothing more to say to you.

Actually, I got from the picture that Thibs saying the Bulls played Jordan and Pippen big minutes won championships is downright indisputable.

They really should pay that guy well for going through all that.

    Oh wait, they do.

The commissioner just said on national television that "we know that there's a correlation between fatigue and injuries."

    What else did he say?

That injuries are just as likely to happen at the beginning of the season as the end (overwork?)

That the number of games isn't going to be reduced (overwork?)

That organizations like AAU truly overwork young players, sometimes playing 4 games in a day.

The only real thing I heard him say is that they are going to look to limit back to backs.

Correlation of course does equal causation, which is why its a good idea to wait and see some solid research.

Doesn't look like the commish is going to do anything to reduce revenue for supposed player safety. I wonder if he'll step in if more teams start throwing games?

Speaking of player safety, how about moving all those stupid cameramen away from under the hoop? Lebron damn near split his head open.

Deadspins writeup of last nights game is pretty good.

Last night was the first game the Cavs had no chance to win. That's a huge credit to James otherworldly talent.

LeBron is shooting 35% when Iggy is guarding him.

LeBron isn't as effective when pushed into the photographers and with the gash in his head afterwards.

That's all I really saw last night.

According to some, you can't be one of the best ever without winning the title. This author should expect some angry emails.

According to some? Do you disagree? I think that statement in the article is a reach. I don't think you can be one of the best unless you win a championship and this Cavs team is just not that good. At the beginning of this series, though, I would have guessed Warriors in 6 and I still think there's a chance of that. If the Warriors beat the Cavs in 6 I'm ready to count them among the greatest teams.

By that measure, the Bulls in Rose' MVP year were the 25th best team in NBA history.

    Were they really?
