<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (valo35 @ Dec 20 2006, 12:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I have been saying that same thing for a couple of years now. He is a big hitter, and I like how he hits from that safety spot, but he costs them alot of times. I hate how he lets the receivers catch the ball from time to time, just so he can get the big hit, and I have seen him do this a few games. While he is trying to get the big hit, ther other team is moving the chains on the Cowboys. I know other safeties around the league do the same thing, but I think he does it the most, and it's just about dumb.</div> I agree, I've watched the Cowboys twice this season and he always gives up big plays. He's just bad in pass coverage and doesn't have the speed to keep up with WR's. He cares more about the big hit (considering what it's done for him and his reputation can you blame him?) than playing solid pass coverage.
Glad Lito and Dawkins made it though. Lito has been great in pass coverage, even dropping a few sure interceptions. Dawkins is just simply amazing. He is one of the best hitters in the League, he's pretty good in pass coverage, and when he rushes he is great pressuring the QB. He makes a ton of big plays, and he forces a ton of fumbles.
Tom Brady has dissapointed me this year to a massive degree. At the beginning of the year, I appointed him the best Quarterback in football. Watching him this year, he is as inconsistent as any player in the league, he misses wide open recievers like mediocre quarterbacks at times, some of the interceptions he throws are absolutely horrible, and his leadership ability has dwindled. I don't know if I'm ready to call him the most overrated player in football, but he's definately leaning in that direction (QB - Wise)
LOL I could rip your post apart for days, but I'm at work so I'll briefly go into it. Who does Brady have to throw to? Ben Watson, Reche Caldwell, Troy Brown, Jabar Gaffney, Chad Jackson, Daniel Graham. That may be the single worst recieving core in the NFL, he gets NO help from them whatsoever. Also, please enlighten me as to how his leadership has dwindled. He is leading his team at a 10-4 clip in a REBUILDING season. Maybe not stats wise, but Tom Brady is the best QB in the NFL. You're from North Carolina, so I question the amount of games you have actually seen of Brady's this year. You have to give the guy some credit for keeping the offense somewhat potent with no recieving core.

He is only the youngest hall of famer ever if he retires today he will be first ballot. he isnt inconsistent, he wins, and he is the best QB not stat wise but winning wise in history.

I said that he's missing open recievers like crazy, which he has in every one of the 6 games I've seen him play (And considering most of the game I missed he ended up playing like crap, I'm sure it won't get any better)And his leadership has dwindled because, he's missing open recievers, and he is letting things get to him. At the beginning of the year it was the loss of Deion Branch, and he has looked blatently discouraged at times.
I don't see how Tom Brady's leadership ability is fading just because he's looks mad once and a while. Hell, with what he's had to deal with this season...I don't blame him. Tom Brady is damn good, it's just been a goofy year. He's lost both of his most trusted WR's in David Givens and Deion Branch and the younger players have not stepped up.

I swear in every game I've seen, the guy has had numerous points where he looks like he just wants to give up.

I don't see a problem with him throwing tantrums, Patriots fans have not had an issue with it or seem to really notice it. I've seen Brett Favre get hella mad sometimes..
Speaking of Reche Caldwell, he's a f*cking faggot. I swear he has never been tackled. He always scampers out of bounds quick or falls to the ground. HUGE pussy.

I know you know what that is since Eli throws for about as many Ints as he does TDs. It's what keeps your team mathematically in the running for a playoff spot.
Once again the Bills show that their best player is their punter. Schobal(sp?) did make it, which Im glad for; but I though Lee Evans had a really good shot at getting in this year.
