It's that time of year again. For AAA's... Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, 10% off Dying Light, 10% off Shadow of Mordor, 30% off Wolfenstein: The New Order, 75% off Metro 2033: Redux, 75% off NBA 2K15, 75% off Dark Souls 2, 50% off Skyrim, 50% off Project Cars 3, 25% off Borderlands 2 & Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, 50% off each Outlast, 66% off Pillars of Eternity, 25% off Dishonored, 50% off Assassin's Creed 3, 40% off Far Cry 4, 40% off South Park: The Stick of Truth, 40% off Some good indy games, mostly under $10... Don't Starve/Don't Starve Together, Valiant Hearts, Child of Light, Hotline: Miami 2, Binding of Isaac, Starbound, Risk of Rain, Democracy 3, Papers Please, Kerbal Space Program, Monaco, The Long Dark Coming in at the top of the shit list is GTA V. Rockstar jacked the price up to $90 by bundling it with an online cash card then discounted it so it would look like it's on sale. Fuckers.
Steam now has a return policy that if you play a game for less than 2 hours, supposing it isn't a short-ass game, you can return it for a refund. The refund amounts to a Steam gift card but still. I wish I could return Pillars. I played it for three hours and got bored with the lengthy text dialogue.
The Witcher series is awesome. But I just got Pillars of Eternity. I recommend for any who liked the classics like Baldur's Gate.
I want Shadow of Mordor and The Witcher 3, but they only knocked $6 off the Witcher, so I will probably hold off on that.
When I got my 970 I got the Witcher 3 and the new Batman game with it, now I have all three Witcher games installed and haven't played any of them yet. I wanted to get GTAV for the mods, but that's some bullshit they pulled.
It's fun. It's cinematic but also visceral. If you like the other games made with the same engine (Batman, Dishonored, Bioshock 3, etc.) you'll enjoy it.
I just got Shadow of Mordor @ 50% off, The Wolf Among Us @ 75% off, and Sunless Sea @ 40% off; downloading them now. Is South Park worth it @ 40% off? I really want to play The Witcher 3, but only 10% off still leaves it out of my price range.
Enjoying Shadow of Mordor. I guess it is Assassin's Creed: Mordor but it's not like AC doesn't have fun game mechanics. Only heard good things about Stick of Truth. Old school turn-based RPG that is very faithful to the show.
I've heard the south park game is awesome. Id pick it up. I'm hoping they release it someway for ps4 so I can play it
I've bought so many games from this sale. Valiant hearts, This war of mine, Papers Please, Tomb Raider (which is bad ass), Turbo Discharge, and more that I can't think of. This sale is fucking up my trying to save money. 10/10 would fuck up trying to save money again.
Wolfenstein has been the most fun game I've played on the next gen. I'd get it, especially if you liked the past games. (there's a spot in the game where you can play Wolfenstein 3d also)
