Was pulled off the mound, IN THE FIRST INNING; allowed the entire Roster to bat round 1-9, giving up 6 Hits, 2 BB's, One K, with 8 EARNED RUNS.............what this will do for King Felix's ERA ? .... Prior to this game, His ERA was: (.251), now 8 ER, in 1/3rd, ..... go figure,

    9 Batter's faced, 1/3rd of an IP.......vs The Astro's.....

Hooked off the mound, for only his 2nd time, (since 07) -

The M's are looking as bleak as Seattle's constant overcast around the year Misty Fog........(give or take 30- days or so.)

Cano is going to have a permanent Nervous Breakdown, in the King's Court......or develop a stutter......

Meanwhile in Boston the Red Sox blew and 8-1 lead over Toronto and now trail 11-8.

In Spring training, the following teams were picked
to win their divisions: Boston, Seattle, Chicago WS,
    Cleveland. What were they thinking?

There is really one team from both leagues who is
head and shoulders above the rest:
St. Louis Cardinals. (I hope I did not jinx
    them.....they are fundamentally very good.)

Not shocked. Toronto looks to be legit to push to win
this division. Boston has been playing pathetic baseball
    of late.

Were those SI's and Tom Verducci's picks...? I know Verducci had Cleveland pegged to go all the way to the Series.....

Never believed it for a moment, not Cleveland, not so fast......wonder how deep Verducci has buried his head up, every time someone reminds him of his ludicrous analysis.......or bad guess work.....

Gotta' agree on the Cards, being in a League of their own. Houston, i thought would fade, yet look like they're here to stay, 1 year earlier than my 014 prediction, Houston would be in the PS by 016, Series by 017........The Stro's tore the hell out of King Felix tonight........no smoke n mirrors in Houston........

I heard Joe Magrane once refer to the Cardinals Organization as the New York Yankees National. Unfortunately the Yankees Organization has gone south. I admire the Cardinals Organization myself. They keep the good players coming in and up, don't get "held up" by people like Pujols, contracts get ridiculous, so long it's been good to know you.

Yep, Cards are a great organization- great system.
But I don't think teams "fear" them as they have been losing much more in the post season as winning the big one....and they haven't been overwhelming or bludgeoning teams. lol....This year they have been doing it with pitching. Nothing wrong with THAT.
They HAVE BEEN and REMAIN as consistently better during the regular seaaons as (just about) all the rest.
But considering all their post season appearances these past years, they get "beat" often.....often.

Just to think, The Mick was scouted by the Cards, and they thought they had The Commerce Comet signed to play in St. Louey.....
