CelticBalla's PredictionDallas shouldn't have much of a problem winning this game by 10-15+, especially with no Ray Allen.

CB that is awesome. Shame the game wont be competitive! Dallas could bench thier big 3 and still win it against my defenceless sonics. But major props for the preview

I'm pretty sure both Ager and Mensah-Bonsu are in the D-league right now.Other than that, I don't have a whole lot to say about this game. I hope Croshere, Barea, and Mbenga get a lot of minutes, if you know what I mean.

I'm suprised that they didnt keep Ager and put Barea in, but it could be because of a matter of things. Johnson's injury and maybe Barea wouldnt get a ton of time on the Flyers because they might have a bunch of PG or something. I've not looked at the roster, but that could be a reason. I'm leaning more on the Johnson injury. Yeah, I'd tend to agree with everyone and say that the Sonics are pretty much the underdogs in this. Tell you what Clangus, if we win by 20, you become a Mav fan. :winkglasses:

I haven't watched Barea or Ager that much, but I'd be willing to say that Barea is a lot more NBA ready than Ager. Obviously neither of them are scoring a lot or earning big minutes, but Barea seems to make smarter decisions. He makes great passes and shoots decently when he does shoot. I did see Ager make a great pass outside to Barea for a 3 in the Philly game, which is an improvement over missed layup. However, I think Avery would like to see him make great strides this year, and that can only happen by getting good minutes. That's my opinion.

Two stars got hurt in this game so far. First Lewis with his finger, he left the game he is questionable. Then Dirk just turned his ankle and needed to get helped off the court. Not good for Dallas.

Haha I know this has nothing to do with the game, but I'm watching it right now and Bill Walton was saying how the Knicks just won 2 games in a row on buzzer beaters. Then he goes, Should we print out the playoff tickets now ? Haha I don't know I just found this funny.

Spencer Hawes has been awesome!

Difference in the game was in the first quarter where Watson stole the ball like 3 times against Stackhouse and got layups. Terry looks crappy as well. The mavs are getting outhustled. Pitiful.

Great way to end the game for the mavs. Dampier had a huge night. Devean George was pretty efficient as well tonight. Stackhouse is still not right. Hopefully he gets back to where he was a couple weeks ago.

They're right; Wilcox wasn't being dirty. He just took a step back and it happened to be on Dirk's ankle. It certainly wasn't "good," but it's a lot better having a bad sprain than a broken ankle. That's what my worry was when they said that Dirk couldn't put any pressure on it (this is what usually happens when you have a fracture... I guess they were being precautious).Anyway, great finish by the Mavs. Devean and Damp were stellar at the end there defensively and offensively as well. It looks like the chemistry is finally coming together with good performances from George and Buckner lately.
