I do think if the Yankees miss the PS again Girardi will be canned. While the creator of this mess Cashman laughs all the way to the bank. Go figure.

Consistency is not exactly a trademark of this
Yankee team. Well, they may be more consistent
on the downside. To put blame on the field
manager when it come to this organization
is absolute nonsense. Management must take
responsibility for the actual cast of characters
they have put on this roster.....a whole
    shitload of mediocrity.

...yup, there seems to be no real direction and no accountability.

...wouldn't surprise me a bit, rick. Doesn't make it right, but you know how things work.

This seems to be a case of everyone from top to bottom just picking up there paychecks without actually doing very much to earn them.

...don't see it changing as long as the Steins are in charge.

Saw cano's name in thread, I have no doubt in my Mensa mind that he left because of girardi, it was not the money, he would have made up difference in a ny market , he didn't like the rah rah rah mentality of joe, esp gettin on him for his lack of hustle .

Proven studs don't leave a market like NY unless they get an obscene contract

No one knows this for sure but, if that was the case then tough shit on Cano. The manager had every right to get on him for his continued lack of hustle. And honestly I think its only a matter of time before they start getting on him in Seattle. Maybe with a little more hustle the son of a bitch wouldn't be hitting in the 230s.

    ...

...lol...nice contradiction. First, you've berated Girardi multiple time for not being more firm with his players and getting on them when they need it, now you claim Cano left NY not because of the money but because Joe got on him about "his lack of hustle".

...you're making this way too easy.

Ohhh my. Goodness. My head hurts!!! Rick , I'm ole school, I would be on cano's azz too , but there is a time and place which leads me onto responding to 59, time and place for the rah rah shite, no ice cream in clubhouse for example, that should never been discussed, the fact that it got out tells you bout what players think about joes way of handling issues, and mess, an obscene contract today would be if the Yankees guaranteed all of cano's future abuelitos salsa For the rest of their lives

    Three Cano problems.

    1) Little doubt in my mind he was PED guy.

    2) Never thrives being the top dog with the spotlight on him.

    3) Anyway you look at it he simply doesn't hustle.

He's in the midst of a shockingly bad season.

I'm asking you as nicely as I can, please don't start your crap again. There's NOTHING wrong so far with the back & forth in this thread. Don't create a problem where one doesn't exist. I'd appreciate it.

The clubhouse stuff is complete nonsense. For one there's not a single one of us that knows what goes on behind closed doors. It's absurd to think we do. I'm really not interested on playing the let's find any angle possible to make everything Girardi's fault.

Ron asked the best question that nobody wants to address. If you want GirardI gone come to the table with a viable alternative to replace him.
