I don't root for Cano to do badly. I just call them like I see them. For that kind of money to have 2 homers and 19 RBIs passing mid June is shocking.
Career numbers = 22/94/307 with a .355 OBP, a .492 slg% & a .847 OPS 2015 numbers = 2/19/236 with a .277 OBP, a .323 slg% & a .600 OPS..............................for $24M per.
Giradi is still the right guy to manage that team, I'd like to see him bow up on his fuck ups a bit more, drag Cashman across the desk and say look you skinny little 4 eyed fuck this is what I need.
What the hell is YOUR problem? Don't tell me I can't contribute a quick little lighthearted comment WHICH IS RELATED to the converso. Lighten up.....are you the all knowing arbiter who fancies himself fit to appraise, judge and squelch ME if I dare "open my mouth"? Get the bug outta yer ass! You've got some nerve. No offense intended.
Girardi had success in Miami because the team was made up of some very hungry no name players fighting to stay in bigs, they listened to him. He comes to NY and wins 1 not of his doing, that team was on the cusp to win it, the aflack duck could have managed that team to victory! Since 09 the Yankees haven't done a thing, Gardy did more with less !
Lol, I have lots of respect for rick, but when I first saw your post BLG , first poster that came to mind was 59! He knit picks a post like no other, have to explain every word with dictionary in hand ! He claims he is not making fun of me, 'Mensa ". Pasta trying to make himself sound educated, just a few of his latest personal attacks, which he insists are not...., when I saw that comment, aristocratic inquisition , my thoughts went directly to him
I remember making a post pointing out the Yanks' final W-L record decreasing each year from 2011. So far this season, he's had a very good bullpen and a couple/few players (Ells, Gardy,Arod,Tex) doing VERY WELL the first couple of months of the season and the team was still floundering around unable to build a lead in a slow division during that time....... .....just sayin'.......it is the way it is....... ...they HAVE had a sh!tty uneven schedule thus far. I'm still kinda expecting the team to overcome and pick up speed as they play the rest of the season with a more stable schedule and more home games.
blg don't try & blow smoke up my ass, we both know that what you call making lighthearted comments is really nothing more then your usual sarcastic bullshit. Lets not screw up another thread. No offense intended. Now, How about them Yankees?
...check yourself...I refer to you as "Mensa" because you post as if you ate lead based paint chips as a child...and when I ask you a legit question to clarify what you said, you simply babble something incoherent. ...and between you and blg, ever time more than one person disagrees with you, the whining starts, as if it's a personal vendetta against you...grow the fuck up and stop acting like a child and then maybe people would stop treating you like a child. About a year ago you announced that you were quitting posting because you claimed that it was because it was "unfair"...again, grow the fuck up.
At this point they need to beat the teams they should beat. I'd like to see them go AT LEAST 5-3 on this 8 game home stand (2 Marlins), (3 Tigers), (3 Phillies) because after that they go on the road for 7 games against the Astros (4) & the Angels (3).
Hmm you know what, those paint chips I ate, the cans it came in were made in China, I will check and see if there are any open class action suits ...
...so lemme get this straight, you think that Gardenhire is a more of a "take charge" and "kick as and take names" type of manager?...and more so than Girardi?
After dropping 2/2 in Florida, I guess 9-6 for the whole 15 games remaining on this 20 game stretch until they regroup on July3 would be okay.... 10- 5 would be very nice....very nice.
