I honestly believe at times your purpose is to just be annoying and get under people's skin. You can have whatever opinion you want. You just shouldn't get upset if someone challenges it. Especially when most of the time your reply is some obscure reference that has nothing to do with anything. We get how you feel about Girardi but posting the same thing repeatedly in my OPINION is stupid. Also, you said two games should've been easy wins. We didn't make that up. I then pointed out that in one of the games Crapvoldi gave up an eight spot in the first inning. Not sure how that constitutes an easy win.
mess, i really don't know what to say, how does one defend themself when there is such hypocricy on here.... first off my posts are about a team, a player, or the coach, not anything about you or a family member of yours, or anybody else posting on this board, but your reactions to my posts are is as if i did, what is that? as YOU know i was banned on the rangers board because i was accused of being negative, the rangers were playing like crap at the time!!!!... the thread that did mein was the FLUKE thread with a simple question mark..... tell me something, what is the difference in what i posted then, and, to what chuck posted 'was this team really in the cup finals last year during this years series? bottom line here is, its all about liking someone, that's all it is. posters don't like me cause i said i played pro ball, and that my posts don't match up to the likings of some of you who feel lightning bolts should shoot out my rear, and i should be the all wise one, SOME of you!!! thats not how it works my friend! and, LOL, i don't get angry when someone as you say challenges me, get it through your head, no one here can challenge me unless you played at the level i did, if you did come out with it already, if not stop saying this becasue THAT is stupid! you don't ever see me in threads discussing issues of contracts, business stuff, yada yada yada, because when i played we didn't have such a contract, and my point is to that is , i only get involved with what i feel i do know, and i am very passionate about it, some people see and feel things differently.... challenge me with what ever your wish is, i have no problem responding to it in a professional manner , if treated professionally of course.
Maybe sometimes a "poster" should just say something along the lines of: "you're wrong again" ...or, "You'll never learn"....or, "your making a fool of yourself" - when someone disagrees with you, or you disagree with someone....and leave it at that. Just a suggestion.
Pasta if I may, we share a similar feeling when it comes to Girardi, the operative word there being SIMILAR, where I question many of his moves & decisions you question ALL of them. No one can be as bad at everything as you make Girardi out to be. EXAMPLE: We both agreed that Joe should not have used Miller in a useless 6-1 game but then you blame Girardi for the bad base running of Teixeira & the poor decision making of the 3rd base coach on Girardi when he had absolutely no fault of blame in that. These athletes are grown men & veterans of the game, at this point in there careers they should know what is needed & how to perform there duties without the mgr jumping down there throats or scolding them like little children that don't know any better. Look, I absolutely loved what Martin did to Jackson & I think the boss loved his moxy for doing it. But its a whole different game today. No.1 I just don't see a mgr pulling a 15-20M ball player off the field & No.2 Hank & Hal are not there father. And besides, your playing days aside none of us has any idea what is said behind closed doors or after the game or even in the dugout when the camera's are not on them. All I'm saying is IMO the thing that appears to get to some of the posters here is your one sided blind hatred for Girardi & the fact the you make it a point to act like the man can't & doesn't do ANYTHING right. and that ALL the fault falls on him. Like I said, these are grown men that should know what it takes to win. I just think you need to lighten up just a bit. JMO. Like the old saying goes, "You can lead a horse to water but....................................you can't make him fuck the fish". Well, something like that.
