I think Dakari Johnson could definitely be a second round steel. A young 7 footer.

However, at the NBA Draft combine, he had the highest body fat at 14.9%, slowest sprint timing at 3.62 sec, lowest vertical leap at 25.0", and he was the heaviest player at 265 lbs. Hmmmm.....

I wonder if this will affect Cameron Payne's draft stock -

He's considered a step up from Wright, right? Maybe he'll fall to us since we love small school guards.

Cameron Payne is currently #15 on DraftExpress.com and #9 on NBADraft.net. Ranking point guards, most have:
    1a. D'Angelo Russle
    1b. Emmanuel Mudiay
    3. Cameron Payne
    4. Tyus Jones
    5. Jerian Grant
    6. Delon Wright

I'd consider that a huge steel if Blazer could grab Payne at #23.

So draft Express says he has good defensive instincts but poor defensive discipline. That worries me considering his competition. I really want a good defensive PG.

Im not buying the Payne hype. For some reason, I just don't see it.

I don't see what's so great about Tyus Jones either.

Boston has some nice young pieces but do they have enough for a blockbuster trade? Unless they feel real confident in landing LMA or Love. Then I can see them drafting Upshaw and trading one of their PF's. They need a rim protector in the worst way.

Do we make a move on draft night if Aldridge doesn't want to play here next year?

Mario Hezonja just had a big game in the ACB finals (although his team, Barcelona, lost to the Sergio-Rudy Real Madrid):

I don't think even Aldridge has decided that yet.

Can we even move Aldridge at or before the draft?

No, of course not. He's a free agent.

That's what I thought so Boston is not likely going for LA, more likely Love.

Sorry, not trying to be a dick or anything, but your a staff member moderator and I see you all over the threads and you don't know this? Maybe I was missing some cynicality?

Its just that sometimes I see the same thing repeated over and over in many threads as if someone forgets what they just read in a previous thread. Not saying this is you, but I see it happen a lot. Makes it tougher to actually sort through the repetitive to get the latest and greatest posts. :)
