1. Isiah Thomas, New YorkJerome James. Wacky trades. Though the Knicks have a number of guys' contracts expiring in the next couple years. Just not good at picking chemistry.2. Kevin McHale, MinnesotaWTF? You have an amazing big man. Is it really that hard to build around him?3. Billy King, PhiladelphiaSee McHale, but with an amazing little man. Also: Dalembert, Korver. :/4. Chris Mullin, Golden StateMike Dunleavy, Adonal Foyle, Derek Fisher: Terrible signings. Troy Murphy wasn't such a good one either, but not as bad. Gets decent talent, but something doesn't click5. Ernie Grunfeld, WashingtonIn Milwaukee, he re-signed Tim Thomas to that big contract. Also traded Ray Allen, Kevin Ollie, Flip Murray and a 1st rounder for Gary Payton and Desmond Mason. Signed Haywood and Etan Thomas to ugly extensions. Signed Daniels to mid level.

Ernie isnt a bad GM, he's decent.
Isiah is the worst because unfortunately for him you cant win games with 3 "primary" scorers especially if they are all guards.

As zards said he brought Arenas, Butler, and Jamison here. However he's gotta stop following eddie jordans orders.

Let's take a look at the roster he took over with, shall we?Paul PierceAntoine WalkerEric WilliamsTony DelkTony BattieWalter McCartyVin BakerJ.R. If he kept that 2002 team together, they would have gotten NOWHERE. While I would have probably kept Toine and built around the duo, look at the rest of it. It's sh*t, to say the least. At least we have a real future now, with 2 young guys that have All-Star potential to go along with some solid young role players... and of course, Paul Pierce.
But all that is mostly attributed to the drafting job he's done. While he's been excellent in that area, he has made some questionable moves, AND he's dished out and taken on some bad contracts (see specifially: Mark Blount, Brian Scalabrine).
Rob Babcock I think is an assistant or something in Minny now, but he was terrible when he was GM. Some of the things he didrafted Rafael AraujoDidn't use his balls when Alonzo Mourning refused to play. He should have suspended him until he smartened up, but instead, he let him walk with a bag of cash for never playing with us.Traded Vince Carter for........Eric Williams, Aaron Williams, Alonzo Mourning (never played for us) and a bag of chips....He could have gotten a ton more value than that.Drafted Charlie V when we already had Bosh playing PF. Let's face it, Charlie cannot play SF or Center effectively. He was just a terrible GM that had no idea what he was doing. I AM SOO glad that our future is no longer in his hands, but in Bryan Colangelo's (best GM in the league) hands.
What about Bargnani, he can't play SF or C effectively, he's pretty much like Villanueva in that sense. But since Colangelo drafted him it's okay.
Andrea can play Center. He's been doing it all year, and once he bulks up, and adjusts more to the NBA game, he'll be fine there. Are you defending Rob Babcock? Charlie was a great player for us, but he just didn't really fit in anywhere.
