Kelly Oubre wasn’t familiar with the phrase “Three and D” until last month. “I’ve never heard that,” Oubre insisted at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago. The funny thing is the former Kansas blue-chipper might have the best tools of anyone in this year’s draft to turn into the type of terror who specializes in shredding defenses with his 3-point shooting at one end and hounding offensive players with his shutdown defense at the other. "Oh yeah,” Oubre said after digesting that description. “That’s something that I see myself being in the NBA.” If he’s still on the board when it’s the Thunder’s turn to select at pick No. 14 on June 25, Oubre might be too tantalizing to pass up. He’s a smooth yet still raw small forward with prototypical size at nearly 6-foot-7. He possesses a freakishly-long 7-foot-2 wingspan that helps him cover a ton of ground and absolutely smother shooters and slashers alike. It wasn’t until the end of his senior year of high school, when he got measured at the McDonald’s All-American Game, that Oubre realized how long his arms were. Even then, he didn’t know the value of them. “I didn’t know it could be so beneficial for me,” Oubre said of his wingspan. Now he knows. - See more at: http://newsok.com/former-kansas-for...od-for-the-thunder-to-pass-up/article/5426412
