... 15 for his last 27...4 HRs, 2 doubles, a triple, and 9 RBIs from the leadoff spot. ...hot?....................or radioactive?
Not complaining but with all the times he's getting on base I would have liked to see a few more SBs. He hasn't really attempted any in some time now.
My hats off to Gardy. A few days ago he slipped into the .250s and has since rebounded magnificently , with some power. Very good feeling knowing Gardy is currently a GOOD HITTER and a significant offensive asset to the club. He could now be really coming into his own as a solid reliable hitter. I guess "all" hitters are entitled to be streaky. Good goin' Gardy.
That's where I like Brett more than a leadoff, which he's not IMO..... Batting 2nd, forces Gardner to look at more pitches, and IMO makes Him a better hitter; (without looking at stat splits), seems more effective in the line up in the 2 Hole..........now I gotta' go do my homework, ah fk it, I'm ditching class.....
Here it is... By Batting Order, AB, R, H, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, BB, HBP, SO, SB, CS, AVG, OBP, SLG, OPS Batting #1, 143, 34, 42, 10, 2, 7, 26, 14, 1, 38, 5, 0, .294, .358, .538, .896 Batting #2, 113, 20, 33, 6, 1, 2, 12, 13, 2, 19, 9, 3, .292, .375, .416, .791
...that just for a handful of games this year...(I knew he was not a career .290+ hitter.) ...fwiw, here's his career spits batting 1st and 2nd; Batting 1st ; .267 .343 .422 .765 Batting 2nd .277 .338 .409 .747
I didn't realize his stats were that close from the 1 & the 2 hole. which is surprising since I basically know everything.
I knew that too, See.........................................................I basically know everything
In that case, can you point me to Atlantis, Shangrila, and El Dorado.....? or where D.B. Cooper lost his duffel bag full of money....?
