LMAO, the 2 must of been owned under the same Owners/Managers...... bad thing about the "backdoor inn" was it was closed for 5 years, an empty bldg. Prior it had been one of the few bars I frequented, with my buddies, partially a bikers bar, with a great clientele of others...... Then these gay guys bought the empty bldg, and turned it upside down. When 2 of my long time buddies came back to visit for Xmas, they knew nothing of the change, other than they noticed the bar was open again. Just prior to coming to my house, both went in the bar, noticed the pool tables were all pink felt, and there were no females inside, (the place was packed with chicks in that earlier era), and yes late 70s, early 80s. They ordered a beer, and played a game of pool, and noticed, they were being stared at by the entire populace inside the bar, they damn near ran out of that "Back Door Inn"......(the main entrance was the backdoor, to the parking lot, the front door, no one used at all, yet both exited quickly out the front door).......!

Pete Lammo lol, fairly common mistake when you go into a place which you used to know as something else. One lazy early-mid afternoon me and a couple of buddies were in the area and went into a place we used to know as just a regular funky neighborhood tavern, the place looked about the same, no ostentatious name or gaudy trimmings....only a couple of dudes hanging around....we were at the bar, had a couple of quick ones and while shooting the breeze with beers in hand...we began to notice some male "couples" trickling in.......now we were already kinda entrenched, slightly lit up and had beers which weren't finished yet......almost on cue we drank the rest of our beers quickly but casually - and strolled out......I mean ducked out. Lol. We had a laugh and said "fuk it".
