Dame is the face of the franchise. That's not necessarily the fault of the team. Dame has an Adidas contract. Dame was on the cover of nba live. He's simply more marketable. Aldridge is a quiet guy and he's not very good at interviews. He's not flashy. He needs to stop whining because this won't change in Los Angeles or Dallas or wherever else he thinks he will go.

Kevin Love left a lot of money on Cleveland's table.

I am wondering how many of these guys like Love and LMA sign 1 or 2 year deals so they can sign mega deals when the cap skyrockets.

They may actually be leaving more money on the table signing max deals this year. Can be a huge risk if you get injured though.

The last player wanting to come to Portland was Scottie Pippen.

What a fucking lier. "I want to resign next year and be the best blazer ever.." Fucking lying ass dude man.

This guy is good as gone, no wonder they did that rebuild trade for Batum. What a joke LMA is.. Fuck him

Sign a three year deal, with the third year a PO. If he has a career ending injury, his financially security is covered. However, if he is still healthy and in his prime, he can opt out and take a longer ride on the gold train. Low risk, high reward.

LMA wants to be the face of a franchise and feels unappreciated. What does he do to earn that? He’s not out in the community like Damian is. Do you ever hear of LMA making surprise appearances at a local shopping mall or children’s hospital? Does LMA regularly engage with fans beyond the required team appearances? Nope. He needs to realize that if you want to be the face of a franchise, then you gotta put in the work off the court to build your brand/reputation. LMA doesn’t do that. He wants everyone to cater to him and kiss the ground he walks on. I think he's a diva.

What about the .1% that's staying?
