Funny. When I watched SportsCenter they said trading Nic was a move to clear salary to re-sign LaMarcus.
Well, the Blazers don't need cap space to sign LMA since they have Bird rights on him. But they might need cap space to get another big time free agent who is necessary in order to get LaMarcus to re-sign. So, in a circular kind of way, they could be right.
I can't remember the last time the Blazers had a major FA leave. I am sure it has happened, but I can't think of one. If LMA leaves and the Blazers get nothing, LMA may reach pariah status.
I am starting to see why you got booted from your last forum. Are your just trying to irritate the fuck out of of today?
It's me. ANd I'm still 100% convinced he's staying. It's ESPN, I don't take their articles to mean anything.
Overpaying for West is failure. Teams that grab West would only be borderline playoff teams. We lose Aldridge, we either need to find a "Love type" player or go rebuild
I agree if we can somehow get a young PF/C in today's draft. If Okafor drops (unlikely), I'd swing for the fences and see if we could get him or Porzingis. I don't think we can go into the season without young player we are ready to plug into that hole.
Man, it took people long enough to finally realize this! It's like Nate McMillan all over again - I see it years ahead of everyone else.
