    ...frankly, I don't see any of those trades happening...and why in the world would the Angels want Ryan Howard?

    If Philly were to eat 80% of Howards contract that's the only one I could see happening.

    ...but he can barely play anymore...and paying 80% of his yearly salary would mean they'd have to pay $20 Mil per year...and the only place to play him would be at DH...all things considered, I think they can do much better than Howard for DH.

    Remembering how the Pirates Fans rattled Cueto a couple years back I'd say no thank you. Shark to the Cubs, man was there once, though his aim was to pitch for the White Sox. Howard to the Angels, they're already paying for junkie Josh, and the man has been in limbo since the '11 playoffs.
