Wow, I don't know how we did it, but we just beat the Clippers with Chris Bosh, Jose Calderon, AND Jorge Garbajosa out. FYI, Jorge and Jose will be back for our Portland game. Chris Bosh should be back sometime during this roadtrip. That's what I've heard.Anyway, back to the game. Fred Jones finally had a breakout game, gioing for 23 points. It was awesome to see Fred Jones back on track, and hopefully this will help him crawl out of his slump. He was aggressive attacking the hoop, he didn't force anything, and he got a ton of great looks at the basket..Darrick Martin didn't do anything for us in the 2nd half, but was key for us in the first half. When TJ was sitting out, we didn't drop off a bit, because Darrick put on a show. He got 12 points, and had a good shooting day. He even imoressed me with some court vision.PJ Tucker got some mintues today. I love this guy. He always battles his heart out there, goes after every loose ball. He's just a good kind of player to have on your squad. He got 2 points, 3 rebounds in 8 minutes. Another pretty preductive night. I liked what he did out there when he got minutes.....One thing I didnt agree with with Sam was benching Mo for the entire 3rd quarter. I mean, Mo is hot right now, and could have provided us with some easy points...Andrea Bargnani, not a real good game. He did get to the line quite qa bit, but he took alot of off-balanced, and wild shots, and finished shooting just 25% from the field....Luckily, I didn't see Elton Brand hit one jumpshot today, and he never really went off. Pretty quiet game..He did however, abbuse Andrea when he got the chance.One more thing.......oh yeah, TJ FORD WITH THE GAME WINNING PULL UP JUMPER! 98-96 Raps!
Yeah, that was a very nice shot by TJ Ford. I thought that he actually held onto it too long but he still made the shot. I was so happy that the Clippers lost. Everytime the Clippers loose or choke like that I feel the same way after a Laker win. I felt like we won twice last night.
