Is this rating them how they turned out or how good they were when they got into the league? Kobe sucked horribly when he was a rookie and for the next few years as well. His first all-star appearance was a joke. Lebron was obviously the most NBA ready of anyone who made the jump from high school.

The best players that were drafted straight from high school that are playing now, IMO, have to be Lebron and Kobe. I mean Lebron is huge for his age and in highschool, he was one of the biggest guys in his league. From watching him play at St.Vincent St. Mary, it looked like high school ball was just a game to him. Kobe is probably the best player in the NBA and the best player coming straight from highschool. He has so many accomplishments its ridiculous. Some guys that should'nt have made the jump are Sebastian Telfair, Kwame Brown, and Darius Miles. I think both would've been better if they went to college, especially Telfair.

But in Lebron's first year his numbers were better then Michael Jordans rookie campaign. Also people doubted that KG and Kobe could play just coming out of high school and they weren't that great in their rookie seasons. But since Lebron came out of high school, he just dominated the sport and improves each year. He's like now the face of NBA could say. Also Dwight Howard is a monster. He's improving each year and is compared to as the new Shaq. He still has plenty of areas to work on like his jump shot and free throws, but overall people are scored of this man. He's a great defender and good at changing many player's shots as well.

LeBron should be number one on everyone's lists. Not overrating him or what not.

Eh, it's asinine to compare kobe's chips to KG's none. That's not the fault of KG, genius. A team's success is almost solely on the shoulder's of it's management.

I don't see how you can say that Lebron's 21-5-5 was better than that, especially since LBJ played more minutes.

[IMG] Domination of the league.

Garnett should be a number 7 as of now. Are you crazy? This guy has never lead his team anywhere, not even to the Finals, the only thing I will give you is that he won the MVP in '04 but what else? Eight All Star appearances? What a load of bs. Kevin Garnett's team is not going into serious playoff contention, and besides his MVP year, he has never averaged more than 23 PPG (he averaged 24 PPG in his MVP year) and his rebounding has been down ever since that year. He was contemplating leaving his team, and his team is sub .500 How can he be over Lebron, who in his 3rd year has seen as much playoff action as KG did ?
