I was thinking since Vince Carter was thinking about signing with another team would it be smart for the nets to try to trade him instead of just letting him go somewhere else after the season and get nothing in return. I think that would be smart because if he leaves they will be in need of a shooting guard who can start.
That is a pretty big risk. I think it would be in their best interest to wait and see and if that is the case they can explore sign-and-trade options.
You guys never know maybe he wants to stay with the nets,I mean he said he loves the area and I think Kidd makes it easier for him to do what he has to do on the floor.
