Just listening to this now. Relatively entertaining. Seems like NO gave no fucks. I guess it is a good attitude to have. You can't put your eggs all in one basket. If one opportunity goes away, go with Plan B, Plan C, etc.

I'll never understand why a team like the Blazers put up with the bullshit from a paper like the Oregonian. The Blazers hold all the cards. What can the Oregonian do? I mean, really, what can they do? Trash the team? They already do that. The paper is dying. They already had to downsize. They have no clout. They have no power. I would pull their credentials. Bar them from the arena. I would forbid the players from talking to them. What are they going to do? Watch them shrivel up and die. I get that Quick and Canzano are hack-frauds, but rooting for any outlet of information to die inevitably leads to canned PR being foisted on to people without a critical eye. The number of people in this thread crowing about Olshey being able to sell ice-cream to Eskimos don't seem to grasp that ultimately we're the Eskimos in this scenario.
