Obviously I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, but it seems like the Bruins are making a habit of shipping out star players who are not widely known to be available. I mean Hamilton for 3 picks? Not even a roster player? How do you not get the bidding up to more than that? They also have zero assets left from the Kessel deal now. Ouch.
that wasnt a good move on Bostons part at all, they have enough older guys to move that would've/could've netted them a good to great return. But i suppose contract talks with Hamilton werent going great.
Mike Green is a horrible defenseman and exactly the kind of player Boston would never want. Does this mean Calgary throws in a defenseman for Talbot. Giordano is a beast but he wants massive money. To me Calgary doing this says they can't or don't want to sign him at that much. I have a feeling this is going to be an insane night with deals.
Calgary did that because they need a second pairing guy. Boston might take Green, they're looking for an offensive dman now that they traded their 22 year old up and coming offensive dman
