Remember when KG got under Melo's skin and whispered in his ear "Your wife taste like Honey Nut Cheerios?"

I totally agree with getting Melo.

    ....if we're trying to tank.

Actually, I didn't know he said that! man! And here I am a big fan of the cereal and getting pissed that its gonna be removed from the shelves until I thought about i a moment. LOL.

Now that I know Melo likes honey nut cheerios, I think Im gonna go toss the rest of my box in the garbage....

And for the record, I am not a Melo fan at all. Good teams have been built around him in Denver and NY and he has failed to produce..other than in his stats. I dont think he will ever get a ring, because he doesn't know how to play well with other good players. I thought it was coaching in Denver, but then the same type of lack of team unity spawned in NY. He's not a team player. We dont want him if we wan to win, unless he openly comes out to the public and says he understands he is coming in as the third star to help Dam and LMA when they need it. Thats the only way and tha wont ever happen.

I don't think we have the salaries to do all that, do we? Gasol isn't very realistic, either. HOWEVER.....IF LA stays and you could convince the Knicks to take Leonar_, CJ, Vonleh (can we trade him?) and multiple firsts then adding him with LA and Lillard is interesting

One thing you are forgetting though......S.Y.R.A.C.U.S.E.

I really hope we don't sign Melo. He needs the ball all the time and doesn't really have a position. Avoids defense at all costs

I say we wait until next year, lock Kobe up to a 5 year deal. We'd be contenders for years with a starting lineup like this.

    Lillard/Kobe/LeBron/LMA/Gasol

Our 2nd unit is just as good with

    CP3/Wade/Melo/KLove/Deandre

Now all we need to do is just convince Kobe to come to Portland.

That sounded like Harden to a T.
