Rumor mill had him probably on the list to be fired but he chose the better way and maintains his dignity! He got better support from a cup than Philadelphia ownership and management.

Phillies GM, Rueben Amaro should resign.
He has destroyed that team. Another case
    of mismanagement.

He had little chance on a team that needs to be rebuilt.

Robin Ventura doesn't seem to have the Midas touch.
He had possibly the best combo of hitter/ pitcher in the league last year and the team was a wet thud....I know there's more to a team than a top ace and outstanding all around hitter but jeez....and this year they're once again floundering after making a few moves in the off season.

I gotta believe ownership isn't thrilled with the team's performance.

Yeah, the timing sure was horrible. I was kinda' surprise Rhino took the head job, after his years in the Phillies Minor Lg system. Could he not see just how horrid this team was, or did he think he could help change the terminal velocity nose dive of those Phils..........

Rhino deserves a decent shot from a decent team. I've kinda seen Rhino and Molitor in the same eye of each other, ie, 2 great HOF ballplayers, who can make a difference; with their own patented approach to the games...........or so it seems/seemed, but not in Philly, ..........bad timing......!
