That is not a better offer IMO than the Lakers package

I like it from the Blazers POV, but I'd rather give up Henderson and two 1st round picks.
After resigning LMA you have something like
    PG Lillard
SG McCollum / Crabbe / Pat
    SF
    PF Aldridge / Meyers
    C Cousins
with around $18M in cap left left
You could resign Afflalo, Joel and Wes the split the MLE between Aminu and Gerald Green. Sign Jermaine O'Neal to the minimum

    Lillard (35) / McCollum (20) / Frazier
    Matthews (26) / Afflalo (20) / Pat / Crabbe
    Green (23) / Aminu (20) / Diez
    Aldridge (36) / Leonard (24) / Freeland
    Cousins (36) / O'Neal

The Kings would want 2 first rounders. Id give up lottery protected 1sts in 2018 and 2022.

So what he's the best center in the league. He's calmed down a lot. If NO says no to him because of "culture" then we're never going anywhere

You mean the culture of winning a championship?

It's not like DMC is even that bad. Get over this bullshit image crap, if we got, which we wont, DMC, we would instantly be title FAVORITES.

But it doesn't fit the culture? Wow. Just wow.

No that offer is far worse than the #2 pick. CJ, Meyers, Crabbe, Vonley and Plumlee still wouldn't be enough. Damian is the only player we could get Boogie with. That might change during the season which could be a contingency plan of Neils; collect multiple enticing young players that have trade value for when the next star becomes available. If CJ and Meyers both look better at the start of next year and the Kings struggle maybe something becomes plausible.

I'm very sure Olshey would love Cousins - Paul Allen, not so sure.

That's not possible due to the protections on the 2016 pick we owe Denver.

Kings have fired about 6 coaches in 5 years..I don't like players who demand the front office fires a coach. Malone was a great coach. Boogie is a super talented center, but a headcase. You'd need a really strong team captain to keep him unselfish and what he brings to a locker room is drama. I don't think Portland has that guy that can get him to buy into the Blazers system

Its hard to know who to blame with the mess in Sacramento. Boogie obviously has issues but maybe hes grown past those. I thought he was good on team USA and at the start of last season. Boogie got along great with Malone and the team was playing their best ball in almost a decade then the owner jumps in and fired Malone.
