I know we tried to move up....blah blah blah. But Danny failed miserably in this draft. I have been a C's fan since the 1970's and this one makes zero since. Unless we drafted those kids for other teams in which we plan a trade, this could go down as our worst draft ever and would be a complete waste of the leverage in picks that we have accrued over that past few years....a complete waste. :(

not the worst draft ever, but pretty freaking useless IMO. Why draft another defensive minded PG, who can't shoot and doesn't yet have a great feel for running a team. I mean they already did that last year. And it's not like salvation is coming in FA. The next big name FA the Celtics sign will be the first in Franchise history (no signing a long past his prime Dominique Wilkens does not count)
It feels to me that Ainge's plan is no plan. Acquiring talent and hoping it turns into a tradeable asset is a long and tedious path. It also fosters a negative image to potential FA's and draft prospects. It may also sour Brad Stevens, who I believe could be a pretty darn good NBA coach.
