The minute I start worrying about a center making jumpshots is the minute I probably should just start watching Cricket instead.

Just a bit of trivia to ponder.

Of the Jordan/Hibbert/Monroe trio, Monroe is the worst defender - but the best passer.

It strikes me that Stotts /Olshey might be willing to sacrifice "D" for a guy who can score a bit and contribute to ball movement.

Just my $.02, and cheap at half the price!

I see what you did there, you added the "d" back to Leonard's name in this context of him playing defense well compared to Monroe, well done!

Atta boy! Seriously, we need inside players anyway. I'm tired of this "the nba has changed" bullshit. You find a dominant low post player and surround him with a playmaker and third tier stud and you got a dynasty. Let them shoot all the threes they want. Pretty soon they will run out of players to defend your playmaker and you got me where you want em

Just read Freeman's article about Plumlee being a Blazer This quote from his article makes me wonder if he has ever watched a Blazer game?

"Portland will have Mason, who can step in and start at center, where he can run pick-and-rolls with Damian Lillard and roll hard to the basket for either those easy alley-oop dunks or to help create space for shooters on the perimeter."

WTF has Damian ever run a pick n roll? Well to be factual, a do remember a couple attempts, where he bounce a bounce pass off the knee of the 7 footer for a TO.

Do you think if your boy LA 'rolled' instead of 'popped' you would be saying this right now?

Well he did roll when Rudy or Andre ran the play but they got the ball up where the big fella could make a play. So I don't know why Damian and Lamarcus never did. But I do know bounce passes to 7 foot guys on the move have to bounce real high or it turns into a fuck up. Maybe Plumlee has special talents.

Guess where I'm going with this is...practice makes perfect...Obviously the more times LA would have rolled it would have forced Dame to make the play and get better at it...LA popped more often than not.

Perhaps. I gather you think it all on Lamarcus that they never ran the play. Odd, but so be it. Still seems funny that Freeman thinks Damian run it with Plumlee.

Not all on LA. Just throwing it out there, Marzy. Coaches and Damian's ineffectivness can take some blame. But If LA was adamant in rolling the way Karl Malone was back in the day. You and I probably wouldn't be discussing this...

It appears there is no point in any case with No Lamarcus. But I betcha Plumlee can't make a play off low bounce pass either. We have seen Leonard try and come up dry.

Let the Plummer PLUNGE it down!

Next development in Dame's game - throw it properly to the rim for the plumber to flush it.
