I for one think the Blazers need to get much tougher defensively. Both of these guys bring it with evolving offensive games. What's the word on them? Any info and how it's looking for either? It seemed ATL got some small forwards in the draft as a possible replacement for Carrol. And about about KJ? Carrol will likely get 10-13 mil and KJ won't get anything more than 5 to start with. I like those numbers as well. Both are a little under the radar.
I like KJ. ALways have. Hope we can get him on the cheap. I don't know if I'd pay Demarre that much. 8 mil I could live with, but 10 seems like a bit much, 13 no way. I like his game, but no thanks. I'll take KJ with a nicer contract.
You could make the argument that Carroll is better than Wes. Wes wants (and actually expects to get) $15 mil. I'm pretty sure you're going to have to at least be in that neighborhood to pry him from Atlanta.
I like it (mainly for KJ) but Carroll played himself into a huge contract. Too small of a sample size - he's going to command around $12-15m/per.
