I was just about to post this Vic. Damn what a bad break (no pun intended). Again as was the case last season (to a lesser extent) was on his way to an MVP season. The kid has been on fire of late. I hope he's not out to long because for the Marlin fans he was probably the only reason to watch the games.

After getting clocked in the face with a fast ball last year this is certainly a shame. He was on pace for nearly 60 homers and 145 RBIs.

Stanton reminds me of Mickey Mantle on those long distance bombs one recently clocked at 482 feet. Great all around player, bit of a slow start this year but when he got in gear he was great. Hope to see him with a speedy recovery and back in uniform ASAP>

I saw that bomb. With MLB Xtra Innings, I often check out the Marlins, just to watch Stanton Hit those Bombs, and soon Jose Fernandez will be back in mid July, hope his TJ recovery allows him to be the Slider From Hell Pitcher he was.....

A damn shame about Stanton, I really like this kid, just like you stated Michael, the Mickey Mantle of our time, NO DOUBT, the bomber himself, plus he's got a rifle arm, I was looking forward to seeing him in the A.S. game too........#$%^^#@
