How good of a player do you see this guy becoming in the NBA? Budinger arguably has the most developed offensive game for freshmen and has exceeded expectations this season so far. He can shoot the trey and mid range shot exceptionally well, slash, and score in just about any way. He's incredibly athletic, a good passer, goodrebounder, etc. He needs some work on defense but I definetly see him becoming a top offensive player in the league especially since he's gonna stay for another year of college. What do you guys think?
I think he looks too much like Brian Scalabrine to be good in the NBA. Not body type, just facial, hair, etc. I kid, I kid. In all honesty, I think he's going to become a very good offensive player in the NBA, like you said, his defense is suspect, but I see him becoming possibly a 12-18 ppg guy, pretty decent, but not star quality. Maybe a starter on a bad team, 6th man on a championship caliber team.

In his prime I can see him being a 20+ ppg guy and maybe even 25+.
He's like a brotha in a white guy! I mean he actually has some hops and he looks like S2S.....Gosh, I hope he does well...maybe him and some other white guys will change the black dominance of the game and make other races more respected. :-o He seems like he's doing pretty well so I think he can become a good NBA player.

We will just have to see how it translates to the defense in the pros. Either way, he averages at leas 12 ppg for his career, maybe up to 25 like you said
Oh man, I love this kid for real. He lacks defense but he can develope because hes pretty tall for a SG. He is also a pretty good threee point shooter so in the NBA, he could possible be the go-to game winner shooter. Seriuosly, the dude can ball and he dunks pretty damn good for a white fella (probaby gets his quickness because he was like an all-american volleyball player in HS). He has pure quickness too. Like you said, hella athletic. This kid is going BIG in the nba.
I love Chase Budinger. In fact, I love the entire Arizona starting lineup, but that's besides the point. Budinger has really impressed me thus far, I didn't expect him to be this good in college right away. I figured he would really start to show his game by his sophomore year. Boy, was I wrong or what? This kid could declare for the draft this year and be a top 10 pick. His offensive game is outstanding, especially for a freshman, and he is very athletic. He can really shoot the ball as well, he's a good passer, but the thing I like most about him is his natural feel for the game. This kid is going to be a very good player, and I can see him definitely becomming a boarderline All-Star in the NBA. EDIT: He does need to work on his defense a lot, and he needs to get stronger.
