I don't know if any of you had a chance to watch Vonlehs interview with Tone at the Blazer Practice Facility but he may have let out some of what is going through Neil's head at the moment... When he stated about walking into a 'rebuild' situation.
It's incredibly difficult to care or be excited about any of this with free agency starting tomorrow.
It kind of seemed like he was just inferring that based on how many FA we have out there and the uncertainty surrounding them, especially since he probably heard the 99.9% stories.
Yeah I could speculate the fuck out of it either way, saying Vonleh may have been told he's about to be given the reigns or he's making assumptions about the twitter verse. Either could be correct, I just don't see Neil divulging that much to him yet.
I chalk it up to jet lag, being a teenager and faced with an interview before you've even met anybody but Antonio Harvey yet
Vonleh probably knows less about the Blazers and possible roster moves than we do. I wouldn't read too much into it. He probably only knows what he reads on Twitter. Sad.
Double whammy in one day, jet lag and Tone. Trauma. As an 18-year-old, he might have still gained a half-inch in height, but now his growth is stilted for life.
Yeah I don't think there's any chance he is telling Vonleh our free agent plans. I could see him telling Dame or CJ or someone who's been here a while but he would be clear about letting them know what to keep quite on.
The only thing I will say is that he could have said ANYTHING else other than rebuild lol. In the heat of the moment he was searching, he was searching on what to respond with and he responded with 'rebuild'. It's not like Neil didn't have a chance to speak to him and go over with him what he can expect and what he can expect his role is going to be. You know he did. And the whole 'rebuild' thing could have come up. And this lik thing might have slipped. Either way, doesn't matter. Just thought I'd share it.
I guess no one is going to bring up the giant elephant in the room... We traded for Meyers' doppelgänger! People say us Asians all look alike, but Meyers Plumlee and Mason Leonard can pass as brothers!
The Brady Bunch was after my time, but the Zeller family and the Plumlee family look like they belong in the same house. I can't tell the difference.
