Cashman: Joe I've got to get you to put Warren in the pen
    Girardi: Why is that Cash
Cashman: That's Mr. Cashman to you Field Guy
Girardi: Warren has earned his starter status, the fans will be pissed.
Cashman: We're paying the colored man big money, fuck the fans what do they know?
Girardi: well OK consider it done.

God Damn Joe, I've supported you since game one in '08, don't know where that demotion originated but as Field Manager you should be fighting for the guy who did the most. This Yankee Fan is very disappointed in that decision, shows all of us the wrong direction for this team we support. Get Gonads!

It has seriously gotten to the point now where whenever CC starts a game you could just chalk it up as a loss.

As far as Warren, he deserved a lot better.

Pretty disappointing news to see a guy get shafted when he was outperforming his contemporaries. Wonder how that will affect the attitude and morale of this team.

I believe the kid is a FA after this year & if I'm him, I'm testing the waters for 2016.

I'm sorry but there is absolutely no logic to this move at all.

CC has become as much an automatic loss as Drew has become an automatic out.

Oh NO, there goes another decent starter with a helluva lot of potential in NY, who goes to some other team, cuz Trashman's plan was left in the shitter........and no one will pick the list of a plan out of the shitpile, he's built and placed it in......!!!

If the Yanx were to win the World Series, (big hopeful dreaming); they'd do it with more than Lady Luck, and it would be with CC out in the Pen, or sitting at home watching it, as he is removed from the 40 Man Roster, in favor of a last minute acqusition (I hope, that's yet to come)...........and I don't hear any Aces beating down the Yanx door, to let them in, .......

Hell if I were a kid, able to still play this game, I'd offer my services for FREE......!Where the Hell did respect go...? in the Bank in the form of 25 Mil...???

...if a young pitcher under team control making peanuts performs above expectations can climb the ladder and earn a starting job regardless of his salary, why can't a veteran who's pitched well below expectations, be relegated to BP service ?
...best players should play, lesser players should sit.

Because there's no guarantee that somebody who has started their entire life can just go to the bullpen and be effective. It's not automatic and in today's baseball you have to value bullpen slots as well.

..."no guarantee"?...what kind of guarantee do you need? CC doesn't have to prove he can pitch out of the pen. And if he's sent to the pen, can he really do any more harm there than he's already done? If he were to be used out of the pen it would be because there's already a blowout or the starter has already shit the bed or got hurt, as opposed to CC starting and shitting the bed 75% of the time.
...I believe Tim Lincecum was relegated to the BP awhile back.

...and value BP slots?...why is that?...have you looked at the Yanx BP lately?

They already have Capuano doing that shit. So unless you dump him to replace him with CC I wouldn't waste another bullpen slot for the same garbage time role.
