Young guy still on rfa status who's good for 20+. If Arizona would even do it i'm not sure but he will probably make 3-4m on this new deal.

If you listen to Gorton, he said he wanted a guy that could make an impact and that is why the got Etem. In other words, he was basically saying Anaheim were morons with this kid and we stole him. I can't believe idiots are making such a big deal out of losing a 15 goal role player who has declined offensively 4 years in a row. Hagelin is not a big deal. Etem is a lot more talented.

As usual, the league and media gives the Rangers no credit for how elite they are at developing young players. You think any of the morons rating our draft knew who Jespar Fast was? I was talking about that kid for years. He's going to be a fantastic role player for this team. He's already better than Hagelin in many areas. Lindberg is going to follow in the footsteps of Fast.

The biggest concern I have right now is Glass. I want that guy gone. Sather has to get rid of him so thickhead AV can't use him this year. He ruins the 4th line. The bidding for Boedker and Belesky will be too high. Guy I want without question is Bernier. He's got size. He can replace worthless Glass on the 4th line and he can also fill in on the third line if needed because he has enough offensive ability.

Second options would be Comeau who is a right handed shot and can fill a 4th line role. Ryan Carter who I always liked. He can provide more offense than worthless Glass. Losing Hagelin on the PK is nothing. Calling Hagelin our best PK player was idiotic. IMO, Fast and Nash were much better than he was. I'm quite sure they will quickly teach Miller, Lindberg and Hayes how to be good PK guys on the NHL level.

What I like about the Ranger 'kids' is
that they are very teachable. Glass is
too thick and is beyond teachable...has
    no upscale.

They need to get creative to get more offense. The team didn't have enough scoring (again) to get a cup but they are close. Rounding out the 4th lines wont help that

I disagree. A main reason the Kings beat us was their fourth line. Rangers don't get any offense from their 4th line with Glass. Not acceptable. A fourth line of Bernier-Moore-Lindberg is capable of getting some big goals in the playoffs. Rangers were 3rd in goals in the regular season. They don't score gritty, garbage goals. They need more players like that. Etem is a goal scorer. He will be a big upgrade over Hagelin who couldn't score for crap considering the ice time he got.

Are you still blaming the 4th line for losing playoff games? This teams main 2 scoring lines were borderline useless in this year's playoffs, stop picking out 1 meaningless player in glass that gets maybe 10mins a game. Absurd....just absurd.

We got shut out in Games 5 and 7 at MSG. We got 1 goal from St Louis in the playoffs and only 2 goals from Hagelin and no offense from either Girardi or Staal from the blue line. They had major defensive lapses vs TB but the reason why they lost was the top 7 forwards were not good enough on offense, and didnt get much from their blue line other than Yandle and Boyle, cant blame the 4th line this year
