    If we assume 4.5% raises each year, that puts Aminu's first year salary about $7.012M. If we re-sign Aldridge and keep Crabbe (renounce Afflalo, Matthews, Lopez, Wright, Freeland, Gee, and Frazier) we have about $13M in CAP space. That's not enough to get Aldridge plus another max like Monroe. However, it does leave open the opportunity to trade a player on a lopsided trade (Kaman for Hibbert?).

    Or he will be dealt. Our floor spacing got a little worse.

    However our defense is better now. Especially because Aminu can guard 1-4 as good as Batum if not better on larger opponents (LeBron and Durant).

    oK, it continues the theme of more intensity and defense. Also confirms what has been quite clear, that at least one of Lopez, Matthews or Aldridge not coming back; i'm beginning to think more likely 2 or all three not coming back.

    Now that we've kept Kaman, I don't believe we have enough cap space to give Amino $7M and max Monroe while retaining LA's cap hold. Someone else should check the math, though.

    There are only 96 minutes to go around upfront... If we got LA to re-sign and signed Monroe... Explain how LA, Monroe, Leonard, Plumlee, Vonleh and Kaman all get minutes?

    I just don't see us going after Monroe.
