Pop has done a great job of limiting Duncan's minutes. I do see a lot of coaches being as careful with him.

No. Duncan is the one guy on those teams you can safely say no to

I think that has more to do with Parker finally looking his age. And Manu isn't remotely on the same level. Duncan is the only guy who is still playing at a high level. I don't know if adding Aldridge to that aging roster will be enough.

You brought up that we've only been out of the first round once since we've had LMA.

Side note: I've noticed that you get a little upset when people disagree with you. Debates and disagreements are what makes forums fun. If everyone agreed with each other this place would be boring. Also we have a strict no personal insult rule here. You can attack what someone writes but not the person themselves. You've pushed it a few times in previous posts. You are a very welcome addition here and I have enjoyed many of your posts.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Duncan is probably the only guy Popovich didn't get more out of; Duncan is one of the most talented players in NBA history. Popovich's brilliance has been turning the under-the-radar guys into either useful cogs in the machine or really valuable players.

You're being a little hard on the Beaver, June. I see nothing wrong with his posts in this thread.

I would definitely agree with this statement.

It's funny: for all the torment this franchise has been through, we haven't had a big free-agent ripped away from us before (to my knowledge). When beloved players have left in the past it's always been by trade, or more recently, medical retirement. Now we know how the Orlandos feel. (Does Cleveland still count in this fraternity since he came back later?)

My natural instinct is to try to talk you down off the ledge, but this is getting quite exhausting, so,

Good luck, LaMarcus. Under the Drexler rule, you are entitled to one post-Blazers title. Best get it before Duncan retires.

That would require us making it to the playoffs...

Just saw this; I wouldn't say I get upset with the exception of BlazerWookee.

Otherwise my tone is just harsh and straight to the point, I'll work on it.

We are all blazer fans I hold nothing against anyone.

don't hate wookee, he's just sad because his signed pair of size 32 LMA shoes look in danger of going the way of his Koponen Honka Espoo Playboy jersey. Everyone mourns their own way.
