No. They'd have a great young team, but Arenas, Iggy, and a few rookies won't boost them into title contender status.
I honestly don't believe this at all. Other than the fact that we will be able to also overly pay Arenas I don't see why'd he'd want to come to Philly...
hat makes no sense at all. Why would Arenas want to jumpship an already playoff team to go to an even worse team. It's just a dumb rumour.

First of all, you can never be certain how good a draft pick will be, and second, AI is better than Arenas and if Oden were to play with AI the past year and say average 15, 9, and 2 blocks...that would have brang Philly no where near being an elite team. The Sixers have a bench thats worse than my former high school's team, and elite teams in the league would still overmatch Philadelphia.</span></span>
Don't see why Arenas would wanna come here. Actuallly I don't see many star free agents wanting to come here with how they treated AI. I mean they made him sit at home while they looked for a trade. And not like he went to the media asking for a trade. He did it in private, and to top it of not even quite sure if he actually asked for a trade really. What he said was he said if they did not wanna try what his idea was when they were losing and they don't wanna try to listen to ideas to win when they are losing then trade him. He did not straight up ask for a trade from what he is saying. But w/e even if he did no way they should have made him sit at home. And also no reguler player is on the block every year let a long a star. There is no way a star would wanna sign here for a few season. When Billy King, and Ed Snider maybe leave then Yeah.
