Unless Olshey planned this out to have teams not concentrate on the player he wants. Then more love!

Maybe we should embed that video talking trash about the Lakers and wanting to go to Chicago?

I have no clue if it's reliable or not. Obviously a "Source" isn't much to go off but what have we heard for the longest time whether it's pure rumor or not? that Lamarcus wants to play in San Antonio. I mean I don't know, I am just a depressed Blazer fan at this moment. The way this is all happening just doesn't seem promising. I don't know. I don't get it. Come here, play with Monroe and this young team and cement your legacy or go to San Antonio and have one run that is if none of those old dudes get hurt. Blazer fans don't deserve this man. Oden, Roy, now this. The inevitable it seems.

You have to respect what the report says about Aldridge. The lakers had a huge presentation all about the money he can earn off the cour, the lifestyle of being a Laker and the history of the franchise. But according to the report Aldridge only cared about one thing, winning on the court. He just wants to be on a great team. I understand LMA leaving PDX if he feels they can't put forth a championship level contender. Hopefully, Olshey can sign Monroe and get some other pieces that are sufficient to convince Aldridge he can win here. It's not about the hype, not about the town, not about the money, not about fame and not about petty hurt feeling BS that's been reported. It's about winning. And the Lakers are losers now. So LMA is giving them the kiss off

He's gone....we have a chance...he's all but gone....it's 50/50....he's gone. Tim Duncan's legacy is SA and LA going there would only ad to Duncan and LaMarcus would be a gun for hire that came in to maybe help him get one last ring.

Personally, I think if LA is leaving, it's down to one team (San Antonio). And I think this is what's being said throughout to "sources". People then make the leap to San Antonio, rather than realizing it's meant to mean it's San Antonio or Portland. People assume there's no way he'd choose PDX over SA.

I get where you are coming from. At the same time if it's about winning why would the suns be a legitimate contender for him? I get it, Spurs are a great franchise with the greatest core but what happens when LA realizes he has this one year to make a run? that Duncan, Parker, Ginobili could go down any moment with an injury at their age or be rested so much. When pop, manu, duncan, and parker retire they have what? patty mills, danny green, and Kawhi? I mean is this really worth the legacy here and the money you could have? I already accepted this dude leaving but it still hurts man. Especially in the way this is all going down. You don't do that to Blazer fans. You just don't lead them on. I'm sure he will hear about it at the Moda Center in a Spurs jersey but what a joke. You know your'e a die hard fan when you are checking for that Woj bomb every 10 minutes and can't get to sleep because you just wanna know the decision to get it over with. lol

Just remember that even Phoenix could be in the hunt for Monroe. There is zero chance for Phoenix to land Aldridge. It's only a smoke screen

We don't know that Phx is really in the hunt. And I don't think they really are. It's San Antonio or Portland.

If LaMarcus is worried about his legacy, where do you think him winning a title will earn him more love?

In San Antonio, where they've won 5 already, or in Portland where we STILL shower players from the 77 team with love?

I hear ya man, been online most of the day staying close to this stuff, I think you said it all very well, I am getting to the point where I really don't care anymore if he stays or goes, the way he is handling this has at least "for now" soured me on him. I love the way Marc Gasol handled his situation with Memphis - class act there.

True. And I always believed it was between the two but when Woj reports this stuff, I wonder. Yeah I agree though it's still between Portland or San Antonio which is why I don't know why he would take meetings with three other teams that don't really have a chance but hey that's on LA

If tomorrow night LA narrows it down to a top 3 that doesn't include the Blazers and does include the Suns (or Rockets? They reportedly impressed him), then it would be in their best interest to be open to a sign and trade. You can at least get something back.

But from the rumors it seems like the only Spurs and Suns impressed him enough to make the next "round." I don't see the Knicks impressing him tomorrow, so at this point I'm assuming we'll make that cut.

I don't think he is worried about his legacy at this point but previous comments would lead me to believe he kinda cares. Saying he wanted to be the best Blazer ever. Telling Clyde he is coming for his records. I get it, it's San Antonio but I think he only has one good year there to win a title. Duncan is the greatest pf of all time but anything could happen at 40. With the way it is in the West and after being eliminated in the first round, I don't think the Spurs could repeat this year. But it's the Spurs
