He wanted to blow it up. Paul Allen did not and hired Olshey soon after. Alot of people are still peeved that we did not trade our assets while we had the chance. Not much we can do. It is Paul's team and his decision. I do not fault any of the players for the past two years. None made a fuss thru the press that they wanted out. They played hard and thru injuries. Olshey made it as comfortable as possible with the press. He also did not mortgage our future for two year of competitive basketball. If LA leaves, I merely turn the page as a fan. A new chapter has started and I will not be worrying about the past.
You seem to be forgetting that there was a whole year between the firing of Cho and the hiring of Olshey.
And that has what to do with Cho being let go and Olshey being hired? The point is Paul did not want a complete rebuild. Many are blaming players and Olshey for the fact we will probably get nothing for our core leaving. The blame goes squarely on Paul. As said, it is his team though.
