I believe Raymond Felton is available. I think I saw him the other day on a corner with a sign saying "Will play for donuts".
Fine by me, but it'll have to wait until LA finally declares. And even then, it's very unlikely. No. He's not even that great of a dribbler, and he can't play D. I want my dribbling in a player who can work with CJ and/or Damian. He can't dribble either. And I don't think he fits any Olshey category.
So I believe this is our depth chart right now: PG: Lillard, _____, Frazier SG: Henderson, CJ, Crabbe SF: Aminu, ______, Pat PF: Davis, Meyers, Vonleh C: Plumlee, ____, Kaman So ideally we would get: 1) A big PG and ball handler (Stuckey) 2) Another big SF/small PF who is flexible in positions (Harris / Casspi ) 3) A light out shooter / ball handler (Gerald Green / Belineli)
I'd really like to add Marshall at backup PG. He's big enough at a little over 6'4" to be able to cover most SGs in the league, which gives him he ability to play alongside either Lillard or CJ, and allow them to play off the ball, but not have to guard SGs. He's got a good 3 point shot, and is a great assist guy, which would be big since nobody on our roster outside of CJ and Lillard currently can create a shot for themselves.
"Another" skill player? That would suggest we already have at least one.... (sorry Dame, but without LMA for the defense to focus on, your life is about to get miserable)
At this point I am hoping for a S&T with the Suns for Devin Booker and filler. Then sign Kendall Marshall.
Portland has been PISS poor at setting screens the last few years. Lopez was the only one who set decent screens. Meyers is coming along with that... Honest question - is this true? I haven't paid close enough attention to Plumlee or Davis to know...
