Between DAL, TOR (only if they can trade DeRozan) and SAC last I heard. SAC reportedly is the only one that is ready to offer him more than 12 MIL a year.
I read an article yesterday that said Dallas and Toronto backed it down to 10 mil, Dallas seems to have given it up. Kings want him at whatever it takes
According to info from another thread, we have about $27 million in capspace currently. We can max out LMA, but would only have about $8 mil to sign Wes. So unless one or both take a discount, no we can't sign both. And let's face reality: LMA is gone with the wind. The fact that he's meeting with so many teams, taking a 2nd tour of meetings, and all the other rumors, it appears LMA doesn't want to be back in Portland.
Wes is somewhere sitting in a hot tub saying.... So, the Spurs have cleared cap space... so have the Suns, and the Lakers, and a bunch of other teams, too. I'll just let my boy LMA do his magic of getting the whole league to get cap space - just so they can sign ME for $15 mil per year! Mwahaha!!
I love Wes Matthews irrationally and with all of my heart, but until he proves to me that he can come back from his Achilles injury to be the same player he was before, I'm fine with Sacramento being the team to throw $15 million at him.
