I had a thought: Are Kings' fans going to be angry at Wes? It looks like he used Sacramento to leverage a better deal with the Mavs. He was probably never serious about joining the Kings, no matter what they offered financially because he wants to be on a winning team.

Then I had another thought: Are there any Kings' fans left?

Will be interesting to read the details about this someday.

More sad to see Wes go than LMA. Fudge man.

If deal with Dallas is for the 13MM per I hear their offering, we should just pay this man his money! He is worth MUCH MORE to this team than Batum ever was...

so were we just unwilling to even pitch/match? or just not even in the picture?

props to him for taking a more balanced approach of success and money vs. sactown's money and living in the cellar eternally.

sucks he's leaving, and ill need to update my sig.

who the fuck are the new guys? and honestly, im so fucking sick of hearing about what LMA isnt doing. he's distanced himself so far from us that it seems fairly obvious (to me) that he's got eyes for elsewhere.

just sign with the fuckin spurs n let all the dominoes fall so we can get on with getting our heads around the new team

also as, things are atm, sans LMA - what is our lineup? lopez gone too huh.

Who cares...? I'm more pissed off at the Batum trade than this. And LA thinks he's Carmelo or James or some shit!? Either sign with the Blazers or move on. The longer he takes the more I dislike him.

Neither of these two will change any franchise to be quite honest. Even as a tandem on the same team they would accomplish less if not the same as what they did here.

Don't want to be too much of a downer with all the love flowing, but....
I think these boards will be singing a different tune when he plays his last game before season's end. History is not on Wes's side with this injury. I love Wes, too, and hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am.

Could Wes do us a solid and agree to a sign and trade with Dallas for Aminu? We maybe able to get a pick or something out of it.

Huh? Why would Dallas want to give us a draft pick for nothing?

SO.....WES leaves for a Cal address because the $$$ is THE THING. Time to start up Dame's plane for a visit to WES' palace. All of a sudden,Dame may be the Secretary of State for the Blazers.

When you rupture an Achilles, you're going to go for max years and money...no way our team would give Wes a 4 year deal on a gamble. I don't blame Wes for taking the opportunity but I also don't blame the Blazers for not wanting to take the risk

+> Value on body parts. The achilles can certainly be a re occuring injury and Management let his contract sit so a possible suitor would take all the risk. I like you was schocked the Kings did that. I thought the Knicks or Sixers would fall into that category.
