I wish they made a deal with the Kings involving some sort of sign and trade for Mathews/McLemore.

    Lillard
    McLemore
    Aminu
    Davis
    ???

But genies aren't real so i'd never get my wish...

I really like the idea of trading for Josh McBob. Great passer, great screener, pretty darn good shooter, and total scrap-boy (Remember that whalloping of LeBron?). He's on a 5mil contract and Miami could use the space. Meyers Legend and a pick is all it would take

Does that invalidate my opinion...? Meyers strangely is very tradable at the moment because of his shooting and athleticism, and a 2nd rounder or two never hurt anyone.
And finding playing time behind Bosh and Whiteside isn't going to be easy for Spoelstra, and Micky Arison can't be so committed to winning as to want to pay the man to come off the bench when he could have the Legend spacing the floor in his place for next to nothing

What Fez in trying to say in as succinct manner as possible is:
    Biebs >> McBob
    1st rounder > McBob

    Biebs + 1st rounder >>> McBob.

    and he's right.

What are you trying to say?

Leonard and a pick for McBob would the worst trade ever.... Leonard is so much better...

Go back and watch that OK Charlotte team from two years ago and tell me McBob isn't the best player on that team. Doin all the little things

Also man, Meyers just has no basketball sense... he looks so lost so often. All the talent in the world though if he can actually put it together

    Javale McGee...

They were swept... McRoberts is on okay bench piece on a good team but you don't trade your potential PFoTF for a guy like that...

Did you watch our series against Memphis? Leonard was our best big man....

Biebs showed a lot of improvement during the latter stages of the season. He and CJ were probably our most effective players against Memphis in the playoffs.

Regardless, let's be more clear here. McBob has reached his ceiling and he's only OK. You don't trade high-ceiling young players for that.

You do when they're hopeless. This isn't supposed to be about Meyers hate, we could deal anyone. My point is he's gettable and he can do this

    But we aren't hopeless...

I'd take all our current bigs over McBob right now.

He looks great when they only show the good plays. But all of the boneheaded ones don't make the film. I'll take the offensive mistakes if he gets his defensive ones cleared up. If were going to win at all we have to be killer on D. That's why Aminu and Davis and Henderson were brought in. McBob is like the Boris Diaw of stretch fours, he has great vision, and is a playmaker at the position who plays gritty and smart and you can run your offense through him in a pinch. He's Draymond Green light and that's all I have to say. Peace out haters

Oh, I'm sure some Blazer fans would love DeRozen, he's a major chucker, who averages a lot of points by putting up a lot of shots. His eFG% is 42% which is atrocious!

But but but....he averages 20 ppg and is the leading scorer on the teeeeam. :banghead2:

What do you guys think about Kanter? He's someone we could most likely get for the max. He certainly has good offensive skills. He reminds me a lot of Brook Lopez.

I think he's a real possibility as a stop gap at PF if that's what they decide to do

Better to max a guy like that out now than a year from now

Kanter would be the first Blazer center with a real post game since Sabonis.

Keep our powder dry and minutes open for our youngsters. We need to know what we have before we acquire anyone else. Can NV one day become a starter? Can ML take the next step? Is CJ a starter or a backup? Can he and DL play together?

It takes three stars to compete in this league. We have one. We're nowhere and it's going to take a lot of luck, a lot of player development and a lot of cap space to get out of this hole.

This spring and summer have set this franchise back five years. Just brutal. However, we don't cry, we move forward.
