I honestly just want one of our PFs to give him fits and shut him down, win or lose.

I'm rooting for Miami if he decides to leave. I bet they would send us Whiteside, Windslow and filler for him. Miami are desperate to get a "big three back" and they would have it with adding Dragon and Deng to the mix.

We could basically release any other players, and still have about 10 mil to play with.

Highly unlikely he goes there but I know what you mean. Wish we could get something in return but I feel it's the Spurs with nothing in return.

Like Gilbert Arenas pledging to score 50 on every coach that left him off Team USA. We remember how that went, right?

Well as long as Dame doesn't say "I'm gonna score 50 on you" we will be okay

If MIA sends us Hassan and Bosh for LA then i will be thrilled.
Hassan absolutely abused some of the top bigs in the league (incl DJ), he almost made Gibson and Gasol cry after he blocked them 100 times in a game last season.
Bosh is a good filler for LA and he's a good guy that you want on your team.

Too bad LA is so stupid, why wouldn't you want to play for Riley in scarface city competing at the easier conference? planning on winning championships with Brandumb Knight instead?

It would be tempting for many reasons. 1.) he would go to a team that knows how to win a title 2.) they are in "win now" so they would be willing to mortgage their youth for one final push 3.) they would have a legit 3, with Deng and Dragon added to that mix 4.). He would most likely be the starting PF for the east allstars

I don't think they would send Bosh. It would have to be Hassan, windslow and filler. They give us good youth, we give them a legit big three.

And I agree with you. The age of Miami would work better with the amount of years Aldridge signs for. Spurs will be nothing, with the exception of Green and Leonard after a year or two.

Reading this thread tells me a lot about the dynamic of leadership on this team. Must of us read that Dame is flying down and though to ourselves "we got this... Lillard time!". That's how much confidence we have in Damian, we believe he is going to march in there and bring Lamarcus back. Honestly I think he just might.

Something tells me it won't be butt missing and schmoozing though, it Errol be Lillard saying how the new lineup with Lamarcus and he will kick everyone else's ass. He will preach to him about loyalty and the fans. It will be like a motivational half time speech.

No way they give up all that.

Being that LA is an UFA...

I think you could center their package around Winslow and fillers.

My hope is that LA chooses Miami over everyone, including us. Then we can demand Winslow

    I'm thinking
    Bosh
    LMA
    Deng
    Wade
    Dragic

is a pretty damn good team, could easily come out of the East. From our end, we'd be thrilled with Whiteside/Winslow/Filler. In fact, some here would rather have Winslow+Whiteside instead of LMA.

What choice do they have? Them let Aldridge walk then and have them scramble to clear space.

So how long is LA going to drag this out? He's starting to make LBJ's decision extravaganza look classy.

Are Bosh and LA both going to play at the same time? Who is the center?

Would be curious to see what Riley is pitching to him. Would be surprised if they gave up young talent outside of Whiteside due to his contract.

Riley is in a slight pickle because his youth is far younger than the old vets he has. Offering a mega deal to Bosh, then trying to keep Wade at 20 mil, Miami needs to be in the contending mix. He knows Bosh, Dragon, Wade won't be enough
